Religion is created as a way of answering holy mysteries. But could it be that nothing created by humanity can be free of secrets? Oxford Brookes University professor Robert Beckford claims Jesus had a family pretty much written out of Christianity and his documentary scheduled for Easter Sunday (on British TV) promises to deliver secrets of the disciples who put his religion to paper.
World War II was winding down as Duke University and North Carolina College played the "Secret Game." It was an all-black versus all-white in a segregated south as two college basketball teams met in March 1944. Fast breaks won out over ball control and the Eagles "upset" the Blue Devils before nobody. It was only basketball, as ESPN makes clear in their upcoming two-night, four-hour documentary, "Black Magic" but much more as well as also becomes clear.
The stuff of lifelong paranoia begins with as little as an opaque comment overheard but not understood during childhood. Could you have misheard; could you not be able to understand. Or could there be a family secret such as a sister filed somewhere on the shelf of a home for the misbegotten or worse (?) a secret sib who turns out to be your soul mate ... not, even if you have to annul the marriage.
